GREEN ATHENS

Founded by Artist and designer, Dimitri Yin, GREEN ATHENS aims to provides garden design and maintenance services in Athens, Greece. An important aim of the project is to also provide a platform for community engagement. This is done primarily through education exchanges with our partner company : Phoenix Athens and is designed to encourage innovation, small industry, ecology and entrepreneurship in the city.

GREEN ATHENS applies permaculture to its designs in order to supplant biodiversity and reduce watering and maintenance for gardens. This entails grouping plants of various sizes in order to reduce watering and maintenance by up to 60%. All plants are carefully selected and carefully potted to ensure that they will provide the owners with a long-lasting product. Garden designs and plants are provided and delivered to your home.

Green Athens collaborates with local garden centers such as Grow Academy to provide irrigation services.

A PRODUCT LINE

Green Athens also provides bespoke or custom-made furniture, planters and home accessories from recycled wood. These unique pieces are designed in collaboration with clients to suit their needs and may also be adapted for indoor use.
